About This Space

This Substack is a place for thoughtful and grounded Christian faith.

I write for people who want to follow Jesus in real life—through pressure, leadership, uncertainty, and change. Some posts are short reflections from the Bible. Others are about discipleship, spiritual growth, and learning how faith shapes everyday life. The goal is simple: to help people know God personally and live their faith with honesty and depth.

This is not a loud space. It is a place to slow down, reflect, and grow.

Why I Write

Much of my writing grows out of listening—listening to leaders, pastors, and believers who are trying to stay faithful in difficult and changing situations.

Faith is not only something we study. It is something we live through. This Substack exists to share reflections shaped by Scripture, experience, and long seasons of learning what it means to trust God when answers are not easy.

A Little About Me

My name is Shant Kazanjian. I serve as the Arabic Director at Christian Leaders Institute (CLI), where I oversee and develop Arabic-language Christian training and leadership resources.

My work includes translating, teaching, and shaping courses that equip Christian leaders, especially within Arabic-speaking communities. This role has shaped my passion for clear biblical teaching, simple theology, and faith that connects with real life.

A Shaping Part of My Story

I come from Syria, where I lived through more than fourteen years of civil war.

Those years deeply shaped my understanding of faith, suffering, leadership, and hope. Living through loss, uncertainty, and daily pressure taught me that faith must be real to survive. It cannot rely on slogans or surface answers. It must be rooted in trust, Scripture, and the steady presence of God.

Much of what I write is shaped by that journey.

Ministry and Church Life

Alongside my work at CLI, I also serve in pastoral ministry and church planting. Local church life keeps my faith grounded and personal, reminding me that theology exists to serve people, especially in hard seasons.

The reflections shared here grow out of both global leadership training and local, lived ministry.

An Invitation

You don’t need to agree with everything written here to read along.

This Substack is for people who want to grow, think honestly, and walk closely with God. If these reflections help you slow down, pray, or see your faith more clearly, then this space is doing its work.

Welcome.
