Where the Idea Began to Take Shape
Years ago, while pastoring in Syria, I discovered Christian Leaders Institute as a student.
I was already serving in ministry. Leaving my church and community to pursue traditional theological education was not realistic, but I still needed biblical and ministry training.
CLI gave me the opportunity to keep serving while continuing to learn.
Years later, I now serve as Arabic Program Director at Christian Leaders Institute, helping make similar training accessible to Arabic-speaking pastors, church planters, and emerging leaders.
That journey—from being a leader who needed training to helping provide training for other leaders—changed the way I think about leadership development.
Across Arabic-speaking communities, pastors, church planters, ministry leaders, and emerging leaders are already serving Christ.
Many know their communities deeply.
They understand the language.
They understand the culture.
Some are already preaching and discipling believers.
Others are preparing for greater ministry responsibility or sensing a call toward church planting.
Yet access to solid biblical and ministry training can be difficult because of language, geography, finances, and the realities of ongoing ministry.
That is why the model that helped me years ago matters so much to me today:
Leaders should not necessarily have to leave the people they serve in order to become better equipped to serve them.
Through CLI Arabic, we are working to make biblical, theological, and practical ministry training accessible in Arabic while leaders continue serving in their own context.
The goal is bigger than translating courses.
We want to see leaders better prepared to preach faithfully, disciple believers, lead healthy ministries, develop other leaders, strengthen churches, and help plant new churches.
The vision is simple:
Training → Leaders → Churches → Communities → More Leaders
When one leader grows, the impact does not have to stop with that leader.

PARTNERSHIP IS ABOUT MORE THAN GIVING
I am not simply looking for donors.
I want to build relationships with churches and individuals who care about developing Christian leaders and extending healthy ministry into places they may never personally reach.
Some will pray.
Some will follow the work and learn more.
Some will introduce me to pastors, missions leaders, churches, or ministry networks.
Some may choose to partner financially.
All of those relationships matter.
This is why I prefer to begin with conversation rather than a financial request.
